Remember how energetic I was as a puppy? That boundless enthusiasm hasn't disappeared, it's still here. Some days it's quieter, but the vitality remains. I protect it, nurture it, and tap into it daily because I understand something essential: energy is life force.
You've been running on empty for too long. Depleted. Drained. Going through the motions while your vitality slowly dims. You've normalized exhaustion and called it adulthood.
But vitality isn't just for the young or the lucky. It's your birthright, and it's waiting to be reclaimed.
I don't apologize for needing rest, nourishment, play, and movement. These aren't luxuries, they're requirements for maintaining my life force. When did you start treating your basic needs as optional?
Reclaiming your vitality starts with honest assessment. What's draining you that doesn't have to? What toxic patterns, relationships, or environments are siphoning your energy? What have you stopped doing that used to make you feel alive?
Your body wants to feel good. Your spirit wants to feel vibrant. Your energy wants to flow freely. But you have to create conditions that allow it.
This week, stop managing exhaustion and start cultivating energy. Move your body. Eat food that nourishes. Sleep without guilt. Say no to what depletes you. Say yes to what enlivens you.
Watch how I approach each day, choosing activities and rhythms that maintain my vitality. That's not instinct, that's wisdom. And you have access to the same wisdom.
