Release what holds you back.

Hi Friend !
You know that moment after a good shake when I've gotten caught in the rain? I release every drop of water clinging to my fur in one vigorous motion. I don't carry it around, letting it weigh me down. I shake it off and move on, lighter and ready for what's next.
As we move deeper into this new year, I'm noticing something. You're carrying things that don't belong in 2026. Old disappointments. Past failures. Regrets about what didn't work out. Beliefs about yourself that were never true to begin with.
Carrying unnecessary weight slows you down. It drains your energy. It keeps you tethered to a past that no longer exists while the present moment, full of possibility, passes you by.
I don't hold grudges. When you accidentally step on my paw, I yelp, you apologize, and thirty seconds later I'm wagging my tail. The hurt happened, I acknowledged it, and then I released it. Why carry that pain into the next moment when there's a ball to chase?
You have the same choice. What happened last year shaped you, but it doesn't have to define your future. The weight you're carrying isn't protecting you, it's preventing you from moving freely toward what you actually want.
Release doesn't mean forgetting. It means refusing to let the past steal your present energy. It means choosing to travel lighter so you can move faster toward your purpose.
What are you ready to release? Practice the shake-off this week. Feel what you need to feel, acknowledge what was, and then consciously let it go.
